Blog Hop Winner!

I was a winner in the BBTB2 blog hop! Awesome, right? I was lucky enough to win a handmade tote from Carole at Paper Arts- here's her link. http://crayola58.blogspot.com I tried a couple times, but it won't work! I can't insert it for the life of me so you can click on it, but you can copy and paste it! Thank you so much Carole!

8X8 Spooky LO

This is my LO for my calender for the month of October. It is only 8X8, so I didn't have room for many pics. The cut of the castle is from Paper Doll Dress Up, it is actually what was left of the castle from the layout yesterday. The Spooky title is from Jolee's, the grass is from my Martha punch, paper by K & Co, and DCWV, and the other cuts are random stickers I had left over. The title is shiny, which is hard to tell from the picture.

Trick or Treat LO

I love Halloween! The decorations are so cute and I just love the scrappin' paper, stickers, and cuts! I made this one with the Paper Doll Dress up cartridge, Martha punch (grass), and Marth stickers. Super cute! I have the cut file if you want it.

Thomas Birthday Card

I made this card for a 4 year olds birthday this week, he loves Thomas! The Thomas on the card is a rub on from Michaels, the punch is Martha Stewart, and the ribbon is from Michaels, too! Quick pho stitch around the card and voila!

Quick LO

I love the Mariposa Stack from DCWV. The paper is so pretty that I just want to stare at it, not cut it up! I did this layout so quick. All the paper is from this stack, the ribbon is from Michaels (it was from Christmas), and the title "Precious" is from the Once Upon A Princess cricut cartridge. I know it's hard to see in the photo, I just couldn't seem to get a good pic!

This is just a quick layout I did with the DCWV Doodlin Around Stack and the Gypsy Wanderings Font.

Daddy's Girl Layout

I just bought the Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge and naturally, I had to use it! My 5 year old is such a "Daddy's Girl", so I decided to use the title from that cartridge. The frame is also from that cartridge. I had to ink the edges of the title to make it stand out a bit. The 3rd cut, which is the pink background is from Gypsy Wanderings, I also made that cut a second time about 1/2" smaller with the pink marker from the Sophisticated collection from Cricut.

The paper I used is all DCWV, the Luxury Stack and Doodlin' Around. The bling is from a collection I ordered from QVC a while back, which have lasted forever! All the flowers are Prima from various collections. Last but not least, the butterflies are from 2 different Martha Stewart punches.

I hope you like it. Please let me know what you think.

Yummy!

I have so many embellishments that I bought from different craft stores, like a whole drawer full! I see them in the store and they are so cute I have to get them. But I hardly ever use them, so for these cards I decided to use a sheet.

This sheet is from K & Company. They are 3 dimensionals and the whole sheet is so adorable. The paper is DCWV the Luxury Stack, the pink base is either DCWV or Bazzil. I have all my solids stored together by color, so I'm not sure. I used a small scallop EK Sucess punch and some brown satin ribbon.

Let me know what you think!

Calender Layouts

I got this calender kit from Michaels, it's DCWV. It comes with everything you need to make the pages, but I added some embellishments of my own from K & Co, Jolee's and I used my Martha punches.

For You Card

I made this card yesterday, but didn't get a chance to put it up.

This card is square, the paper is from DCWV Doodlin' Stack, butterfly punch from Martha Stewart, border punch also from Martha Stewart, the cut is from Gypsy Wanderings using the shadow feature and the cricut markers, and the ribbon is cheapy brown ribbon from Michael's.

Enjoy!

A Blank Card

Sometimes it's nice to give a just because. I like to make cards that do not have any sentiments on them sometimes because if I need a card for something unexpected I can just grab it and write it out! So, that's pretty much what this one is for.

The pattern papers are from s-e-i Madeline stack, which is full of beautiful, coordinating pages. The ribbon is Martha Stewart. I used the Pagoda cricut cartridge and cut out 3 flowers with the shadows at 1 1/4", 1 3/4", and 2 1/4". I added a silver brad in the middle of each. Pop dot are between the layers to give it some dimension. I also inked the edges of the plaid base with a grey from Color Box and the leaves with olive from Color Box. I love their inks!

Helpful hint: tape the back of the brads because if not they slide and you can see the prongs. I learned the hard way!

Let me know what you think!

This is a work in progress!

Okay, so this is my first blog and it is taking me some time to figure out how to set it up. I need to put some cute design up because right now it is so, BLAH! I am working on it between play time and meal time with my kids!

I will take some pictures soon and add some of my designs soon, too!
