I am trying to use up my stickers,so thus is what I came up with. The paper, characters, and haunted house are from K and Company. The title I got at Michael's. Let me know what you think.

You had to use an ice cream or popsicle image. I cut my image from my Doodlecharms cartridge. The ice cream cone is about 9", I ran the ice cream and the cone in 2 different cuttlebug folders to give it some texture. I'm not sure where I got the paper, the stamp is from Michael's,but I'm not sure what brand! Hope you like it!
The picture doesn't do it justice, I had a difficult time getting a decent picture. I made this layout using the sketch from Frosted Designs, the challenges are for My Sheri Crafts Challenge and Sketches in Thyme Open Sketch Challenge.

My Sheri Crafts Challenge #45 requires the project to be Girly and Sketches in Thyme required you to just use a sketch. I really liked this sketch, it was simple, but elegant. I think I'm going to put some black and white pics of my daughter playing on the layout.

The paper is all from the DCWV La Creme Stack, it's hard to tell from the picture, but the background page is flocked. So rich looking! Ooo, I forgot, the red paper is from DCWV The Shimmer Stack. The butterflies are Recollections as well as the flowers and pearl accents. I cut the "Play" title and black background with the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge, and both borders are EK success.
I embossed the card with my Cuttlebug circles folder and the circle with a stripes folder. I cut the circle and stars with my cricut, the dinosaur is from K&Company, and I got the ric rac ribbon from Michaels. I added a star brad within the star at the bottom and some star stickers along the top. The background paper is from DCWV Boys Stack.
This card is for http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2011/02/getting-wordy.html and http://frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/2011/02/fabulous-friday-challenge_18.html

For the Fantabulous Friday Challenge you could not use patterned paper and the Wordy Challenge was to stamp a sentiment for the background paper. Quick and easy birthday card!

I used DCWV Summer Cardstock Stack for all my paper. I used an EK Success cupcake border punch and scalloped circle punch, the Cupcake embellishment is from Jolee's boutique-EK Success, the ink is Kaleidacolor, no clue where I got the stamp, and the jewels I ordered from QVC ages ago!

I punched the cupcake border in both black and lime green then offset it when I glued it, so it would look like a shadow. The card came out cute. Not bad for my first challenge. Hopefully I will attempt many more in the future!
The title is shiny, which is hard to tell from the picture.Casshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11570453646298154442noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4822142994951457116.post-68117343624136713652010-09-24T18:47:00.000-07:002010-09-24T18:59:58.466-07:00Trick or Treat LO<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLzk1PLKvCBJjKcnUoDr007DhhpLcH1wLOpPF5fAoXuck_y8bratwwO-0JQ_zbQ7cTZ0-L95KMTcy6GwMQB72MWVxF0m5wt4EUe6INdyTMCPO8g9T9nrNvNPgNIcO0W1Az5cx5DKhyykcq/s320/SDC17793.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520664819803375922" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcIQle1ItZ6DSjYzTEDndBrrGCz9Yxy5ukZffPqNogl_-63GFgIcceqD7X6SHTGd-9xISE2tHv-s60MkieyB6t4r5QI1lBg3FGfHh7shcMT1sVJ3JLmW1tcaYX3N4k8JzVp1ay1bwUbdtR/s320/SDC17792.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520664814132348290" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTyM9Xu15sQ3IOASkh_PYJ9sUmCLqI5YejN5htdIXlwmXKDTqtVG-bbeZPRAGXmEMC8VzOaE-aG6IP0R_7hUZkdxNusxlIh5rw8KTWoj7sSOwiMnq0Mej4I7t8RxrLZZxzW6lvtlkjQhuC/s320/SDC17790.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520664806441020514" />
I love Halloween! My 5 year old is such a "Daddy's Girl", so I decided to use the title from that cartridge. The frame is also from that cartridge. I had to ink the edges of the title to make it stand out a bit. The 3rd cut, which is the pink background is from Gypsy Wanderings, I also made that cut a second time about 1/2" smaller with the pink marker from the Sophisticated collection from Cricut.

The paper I used is all DCWV, the Luxury Stack and Doodlin' Around. I used the Pagoda cricut cartridge and cut out 3 flowers with the shadows at 1 1/4", 1 3/4", and 2 1/4". I added a silver brad in the middle of each. Pop dot are between the layers to give it some dimension. I also inked the edges of the plaid base with a grey from Color Box and the leaves with olive from Color Box. I love their inks!

Helpful hint: tape the back of the brads because if not they slide and you can see the prongs. I learned the hard way!

Let me know what you think!Casshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11570453646298154442noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4822142994951457116.post-16282158646860800672010-03-04T17:39:00.000-08:002010-03-04T17:41:43.293-08:00This is a work in progress!Okay, so this is my first blog and it is taking me some time to figure out how to set it up.
